Collection: GIA BARDOT

Gia Bardot was born from two beginnings at once: the arrival of a daughter named Bardot, and the creation of a cashmere label by the mother and grandmother who welcomed her. Founded in Cape Town in 2013 by Ty Wiese model, brand manager, and Parsons Paris fashion graduate, and her mother Yolande Bridger, whose twenty years designing interiors for superyachts instilled an instinct for quiet, bespoke luxury, the brand carries the imprint of both women in every piece.

Each garment is knitted in Mauritius by a small atelier that has worked exclusively with Gia Bardot since the beginning, using long-staple cashmere from Cariaggi, the Italian mill regarded as the finest in the world. The result is knitwear that asks nothing of the wearer except to be worn, softening with time, lasting by design.
